Peter Villavecchia, OTR/L

I attended Sacred Heart University for my undergraduate initially pursuing occupational therapy but transitioned to a focus in psychopharmacology and behavioral neuroscience. I conducted various research studies in pharmacology and behavioral neuroscience on early life stress, exposure to methylphenidate and its effects on dopamine transport proteins and the alterations to the reward centers of the brain. After graduating I remained at the university conducting additional early life stress research and working on publishing how early life stress impacts weight gain and the ability to manage stressors later in life. I then transitioned to the pharmaceutical industry to conduct studies on a new treatment for Huntington’s disease. I remained in the pharmaceutical industry for a few years before pursuing my degree in health sciences and occupational therapy from Dominican University.

Upon graduating I worked at Christian Health for five years eventually becoming the OT department supervisor before transitioning to Kinetic Rehab and Spine to create the occupational therapy department and further the holistic approach to treating their patient population.

Dr. Evan Chait

The Chait Neuropathic Technique (CNRT®) is exclusively found at Kinetic PT. Each Physical Therapist is certified in CNRT®, a series of techniques that treats the root of pain and dysfunction in the back. CNRT® was created by the co-founder, Evan Chait, PT, L.AC., and is proven to get exceptional results

The purpose of CNRT® is to find the weakest links in the body and correct those imbalances. CNRT® treats the root of the pain, not the branches. For example, a CNRT® clinician will look at a patient coming in with elbow pain and may never treat their elbow, to remove the blockage causing their pain.

CNRT® is highly effective and not limited to treating the following conditions:

N

Low Back Pain

N

Shoulder Pain

N

Achilles Tendonitis

The Chait Neuropathic Release Technique (CNRT®) is a multidisciplinary diagnostic and treatment process that focuses on 3 Tiers of health. The 3 Tiers include the nervous system, biomechanical system, and the movement pattern system.
