Symptoms of SUBSCAPULARIS SYNDROME include:
-Limited overhead reach ability (i.e. reaching for something on a high shelf)
-Pain with throwing type of movements

Getting to know the SUBSCAPULARIS
Origin: Subscapular fossa (triangular-shaped, concave surface at the front of the scapula)
Insertion: Lesser tuberosity of the humerus
Action: Rotates the head of the humerus inward; when the arm is raised, it draws the humerus forward and downward
Largest of the four rotator cuff muscles and prevents displacement of the head of the humerus.
